24 hours of Afrobeat
Thursday August 2nd is our second 24 Hours of Afrobeat at WXDU. I'll be taking the first shift from midnight to 3am, which is really still Wednesday night for most civilized folk. Tune in to get your fix of K. Frimpong, Antibalas, Loketo, and of course plenty of Fela.

Have Konono No. 1 made it to the USA yet?
i'm pretty sure konono no. 1 have toured the US on their own as well as with bjork this year. (neither tour came anywhere near here, of course...)
